OK, I'm hooked. I just placed my second order for a "6-pack" of these wonderful sausages. The only problem I have is deciding which varieties to choose! These are absolutely the finest sausages I've ever tasted, anywhere. They're extremely lean, but not at the expense of flavor. I don't know how they do it, but they've managed to keep the fat content low and still get tons of flavor in these. They cook up just great on the stove, in the countertop contact grill, on the outdoor gas grill, and over charcoal. Even with the shipping costs, they're worth every penny. HIGHLY recommended!! Where do I even begin with the Apple Cinnamon Sausage??!! I grew up visiting relatives in Hermann and going to Swiss was always a planned trip. My husband and I reside in Illinois and have an annual fall festival at our country home. The star attraction every year is the Apple Cinnamon Brats! Everyone knows they are the featured flavor every year. We cook them in apple cider then grill them and keep them warmed in more apple cider. We also serve deer Bar-B-Q with an Apple Cinnamon sauce. With over 100 guests each year-we must be doing something right. I cannot begin to tell you how many Swiss cards have been handed out at the festival, as many of our friends have either joined us or ventured into Hermann on their own. A visit to Swiss is now part of their tradition! If you are anywhere in the area of Swiss, make a swing in-all of the meat is exceptional and the taste testing is so much fun! The people of Swiss meats are the best! They even have styrofoam coolers for purchase--can't tell you how many of them we have stored in the basement! (Posted on 11/2/09)

Found your Hickory Smoked Apple Cinnamon Sausage, Missour Smoked Pork Sausage and Thick Cut Bacon to be the best products I have ever tasted. There is simply nothing in Minnesota (or anywhere that I know of) like this. But thank goodness you have made your products available for order online. Now I don't have to drive all the way to Branson to get them at Taste of Missouri. Keep up the good work, Swiss! P.S. How on earth do you get the bacon to "bite" like that?
