Where do I even begin with the Apple Cinnamon Sausage??!! I grew up visiting relatives in Hermann and going to Swiss was always a planned trip. My husband and I reside in Illinois and have an annual fall festival at our country home. The star attraction every year is the Apple Cinnamon Brats! Everyone knows they are the featured flavor every year. We cook them in apple cider then grill them and keep them warmed in more apple cider. We also serve deer Bar-B-Q with an Apple Cinnamon sauce. With over 100 guests each year-we must be doing something right. I cannot begin to tell you how many Swiss cards have been handed out at the festival, as many of our friends have either joined us or ventured into Hermann on their own. A visit to Swiss is now part of their tradition! If you are anywhere in the area of Swiss, make a swing in-all of the meat is exceptional and the taste testing is so much fun! The people of Swiss meats are the best! They even have styrofoam coolers for purchase--can't tell you how many of them we have stored in the basement!
