Smokey Bacon Chili

5 slices Hickory Smoked Bacon, chopped

1 large Onion, finely chopped

1 large Garlic Clove, chopped

1 ½ lbs Lean Ground Beef

1 tbsp. Chili Powder

1 ½ tsp. Ground Cumin

1 ½ tsp. Smoked Paprika

½ tsp. Cayenne Pepper

½ tsp. Salt

1 can (14.5 oz.) Crushed Tomatoes

1 tsp. Worcestershite Sauce

8 oz. Tomato Sauce

1 can (14.5 oz.) Pinto Beans, drained

Sour Cream or Grated Cheese for topping

In a large pot over medium high heat, cook bacon until it begins to brown, about 4 mintues. Add onion and lower heat to medium. Cook till translucent. Stir in crushed garlic and cook for one more minute. Add ground geef and stif until it loses its pint color, 6-8 minutes. Stir in all remaning ingredients, except beans. Reduce heat to low, cover and cook 30 minutes. Add beans and cook 10 minutes more, uncovered. Season to taste with additional salt if desired. Serve topped with sour cream or grated cheese.
