Hawaiian Bratwurst and Egg Bake

1 lb. Swiss Meats Hawaiian Bratwurst
12 slices bread, crusts removed
1/2 lb. mild or sharp cheddar cheese, grated
1 cup pineapple chunks, drained (optional)
12 Large eggs
2 cups milk
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup butter, melted

Prepare sausages by cooking in skillet over medium-low heat, turning frequently, to an internal temperature of 165 degrees. Cool and slice into 1/4” coins. Cube bread and place on bottom of 9” x 12” sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. Add sausage, cheese and pineapple over bread.

In a separate bowl, mix eggs, milk, salt and pepper. Pour over the mixture in the pan. Melt the butter and pour over the top. Refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until egg is set. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
