Most consumers today are more intent on knowing where their food comes from, how it was grown or raised, and if it has been processed with all natural ingredients. This growing trend of consumer awareness brought more farmers and ranchers into the direct marketing field.  Instead of selling their animals to a market that controlled their pricing, they decided to market their select breeds of animals directly to the consumers.  These farmers take pride in their livestock and raise them in their natural environments, feed natural or non-gmo feeds, and in general, raise animals with high animal welfare standards.

They do their research then to locate a meat processor that is not only USDA inspected, but one that has strict quality control programs, were HAACP certified, Animal Welfare Approved, and, most important, has an excellent record of producing quality, value added products that they would feel good about putting THEIR name on!
